Hand crafted joinery

Interested in the detail of how your joinery is produced? Your joinery is hand crafted in the following seven stages:

  • Preparation of timber – initial ‘rough’ cutting of your timber to ensure all twists are out, ready for machines to cut mouldings.

  • Marking out timber – this enables us to precisely measure the timber ready for the next step.

  • Cutting the timber – machining of timber to achieve professional mouldings.

  • Assembly – each element of your joinery is pieced and joined together to create the final item.

  • Paint (optional) – if a painted finish is chosen, the joinery will move through to our spray workshop where we will achieve a professional finish.

  • Glazing – our in-house glazing experts will fit the glass.

  • Quality control – all joinery is quality checked before it leaves our workshop.
