After our earlier re brand in the year Hawkers has continued to engage the world of marketing! Our adverts are being well received in local magazines such as the highly regarded Bath Life and the newly signed vans are becoming a regular sight in and around Bath.

The result has been a deluge of enquiries with our Sales team of Nigel Hodges and Mitchell Thomas securing some fascinating jobs around the County, some examples of which are as follows:

· At last count Hawkers were working on five separate properties within the Royal Crescent, it is always pleasing to be the preferred joinery company charged with the task of ensuring this most prized asset maintains its lustre.

· We have been contracted by Kennick Builder Contractors on behalf of the old Carfax Hotel on Great Pulteney Street which is shortly to be opened as No 15 Great Pulteney Hotel’ where we have been busily overhauling the 66 sash windows of this stunningly beautiful property.

· Recently secured work from Wraxall Builders, The Flying Pig Company and Edmont on various projects alongside numerous private clients is certainly keeping us on our toes and ensuring there are early mornings and some late nights back at our base in North End, Batheaston

The really exciting news is that we have been lucky to have increased our workforce with the addition of 6 highly skilled machinists and joiners, in part, as a result of the closure of one of our competitors. This has meant a complete overhaul of our production processes and the appointment of new team leaders under our Production Director David Newman. The early signs are looking very good and we are confident we will be increasing our production levels to allow us to take on even more work and meet the exacting delivery times of our customers!

Onwards and upwards for Hawkers…
